Engagement Alliance debut

This is the first step in a journey of what I hope will be a million miles. It is very early days indeed for us, but the specialists and professionals that we are bringing together under the umbrella of the Engagement Alliance have hundreds of years of experience in business, marketing, communications, and customer service between them. Just as importantly, we all have at least as much experience as customers ourselves.

I am eager to introduce healthy debate into things - no one likes an echo chamber. In the coming days, we will announce more additions to the advisory board, all of whom have plenty to say about how to maximise the value exchange in commerce. Not all of these individuals agree on how to go about that, but the guiding principles are the same: Share genuine value with customers, and they will share it with you, in the form of their custom, attention, and even credibility for your company or organisation.

We are also trying to keep all of this as jargon-free as possible (indeed, look out for our Jargon Watch posts), and make it a genuine conversation. It’s great to have you listening in, and we hope you will voice your opinions, too.
